Use a plan or survey and stay on the ground. For A, take the length of one gutter along the roof. For B, add the front and rear slope lengths from eaves to ridge. If both slopes measure 5 m, enter 10 m.
Only know the footprint? Choose “From the ground” and enter the horizontal distance from the front eaves to the rear eaves, including overhangs. The pitch adjusts it to the sloping distance.
Based on a full strip and re-cover, with standard scaffolding and waste removal included.
Stripping the existing covering, disposing of roofing waste, standard scaffold access, new membrane and battens, concrete interlocking tiles, standard ridge work, labour and 20% VAT.
Fascias, soffits, gutters, chimney work, solar panels, insulation upgrades, building control fees and structural timber repairs are priced separately. For hips, valleys, dormers or difficult access, contact Anthony for a site visit.
For a straightforward concrete-tile reroof, we use £10,200 including VAT for 80 m². The price scales with the sloping area. The budget range allows 10% either side, with figures rounded to the nearest £100. The guide covers 35–180 m² with straightforward access.
With a footprint measurement, we assume two equal slopes at the pitch you choose. The diagram shows which dimensions to use and is drawn for illustration. We can measure the roof and check access before giving you a written quote.
